Beautiful Spring Days

While I thought vacation was a "busy" time for us, it seems that this month has not gotten any quieter!!  We have made many weekend trips and tried to pack in as much fun as we can before T's deployment gets here!  While I try and keep this blog up to date I have unfortunately fallen drastically behind! 

Our first exciting trip of the month was a day trip to the nashville zoo with some friends from playgroup.  We had a great time and even got to hit up the mall with our friends Susan and Hailey.  Susan and I have already started the plans for their "arranged marriage" but all jokes aside little L loves spending time with Hails...maybe because they both love animals and little einsteins :)

We then had a very exciting first trip to the horse stables on post.  L has always like seeing horses on movies and such but had never seen them except for from the car.  We decided to try it out since the stables offer ponys for rent by the hour.  Boy did he suprise us with how much he truly LOVED it!!  He ended up with a miniature horse named Zack that was sooo good to him.  L got tired of riding and wanted down but cried because he didnt want to leave!  Luckily we had brought some carrots to feed the horses so that was a nice treat for the horses and for L!!  He wanted to feed them all to zack though :)  He to this day calls all horses "my zack"...guess we will be heading up there frequently now!
